What we did

DASS served as the lead agency, managing the project from concept to execution of the Maybank Football Fan App.

The app is a real-time competitive gaming application designed to connect fans more closely with the game and their beloved club, Manchester United FC. This mobile game incorporates football elements that allow participants to test their skills at the training ground or answer trivia questions to earn game credits. They can also compete for the 'Shot at The Title,' an exclusive opportunity for Maybank Manchester United Cardmembers to win fantastic prizes.

To enhance the gaming experience, cardmembers can upgrade their in-game soccer balls, customize their game avatars with jerseys, and purchase powerful boots for improved performance using the earned game credits. The Grand Prize winner of the 'Shot at The Title' will receive a trip for two to watch Manchester United live at Old Trafford, including flight and accommodation.

Outcome

As a result of our innovative app, Maybank successfully achieved its goals, which included increasing engagement levels with cardholders, enhancing the digital capabilities and features of Maybank's card offerings, and reinforcing its leadership in the cards business.
